Extreme Makeover - Vintage Edition

I thought some of my visitors would like to see some before and after pictures of the books you find on this site. I am showing just a few of the more extreme makeovers I have done to restore them. It is not uncommon to work 15 - 20 hours on just the covers alone. I see many of them as wonderful hidden works of art, and uncovering the beauty from under the years of dirt is worth every minute I spend on them. It's a dirty job - but someone has to do it! :-)
