In this edition there are sections on Italian Cutwork, Point Lace, Point Needle Work, Knotted Cord, Netting, Filet Lace, Filet Crochet, Italian Hemstitching (and Punto Quadro), Italian Hemstitching with Clusters and Tassels. In addition to all of this, there are 15 pages of beautiful charted designs including religious symbols, several alphabets and whimsical patterns.

They are similar to the Priscilla books, which were also produced in Boston at this time.

This smallest edition has wonderful large instructions of rare techniques such as Sardinian Filet Lace, Serpintine stitch (serpentina con punto riccio) and fancy Italian Drawn Stitches (Italian punti sfilati). A beautiful collection of techniques that will delight all needleworkers!

    28 Pages. This wonderful fourth edition contains lovely illustrations and detailed instructions for Assisi Work or in Italian "Punto d'Assisi". This is a very old and beautiful form of embroidery that originated in Italy. There is also instruction in this book for drawn work and Italian Hemstitching. A wonderful and hard to find resource!

The book is loaded with detailed instructions and profusely illustrated with several one of a kind finished projects. Stunning work!

    31 Pages. A lovely edition of ethnic Italian needle work. In this edition there are stunning patterns for Italian Hemstitching. In addition to this there are also patterns for crocheted and knitted bedspreads and edgings. The mixture of Hemstitching and crochet is flawless in patterns such as table runners and luncheon sets. There are also a coupled of charted patterns for Ecclesiastical Designs. Truly a wealth of information here is large illustrations and extensive instructions to create them.
