This is the thirty-second edition of the rare Leach's Home Needlework series, originally published nearly a century ago.  The patterns in this book, designed by Ella Hodgett, are exquisite crocheted lace butterfly patterned edgings and insertions for use in tea cloths, household linen and even a tea-cosy. The butterflies have a lovely art-deco appeal, the designs are similar to the works of Mary Card, and Australian designer from this same era.
